TechTarget is seeking a Director of Product Innovation to help manage and grow its data subscription business line. This position will straddle the functional roles between traditional Product Management, Business Analysis and Internal Product Support. Individuals with experience in those areas are encouraged to apply.

The Director of Product Innovation will work with multiple internal departments to understand the various business processes/strategies that optimize the consistency, accuracy, and freshness of our products. The individual qualified for this position is required to be a self-reliant, data-curious individual looking to apply their experience and judgment towards a variety of technical tasks.

Understanding of Demand Generation industry practices, Sales Operations, and Marketing best practices, a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the publishing/media space, lead generation, or online advertising on either the buy or sell side.

• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects and tasks.
• Self-motivated with a high level of initiative. Comfortable working both independently and with a team.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated record of partnering with teams across the organization and influencing to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have competing goals.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule trade-offs and/or new opportunities with technical and non-technical employees.
• Prior product innovation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of software development tools such JIRA a plus.
